Her father decides that Bianca must get married before her younger stepsister, all the while her stepmother wants to set her up with someone she doesn’t like and has nothing in common with. The chemistry between Hudson and Bianca is really amazing. It is an amazing story of love, family, faith and new beginnings. I was so looking forward to diving into this book. It was fun to spot a few of the characters from a previous series of books that the author has written. I was definitely caught up in seeing how the right relationships would develop.
The fact that Aaron seemed to see things clearer than the others really caught my attention.īianca’s life at home was very difficult and I really connected with the idea that part of why she made sure to go to go riding each morning was as an escape from the reality of it. I liked seeing how they supported each other. They have a lot of hangups that they need to work through but that didn’t stop them from becoming friends. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Bianca, Hudson, and even Aaron. I love how deeply developed the main characters are. This is sure to entertain any inspirational reader. Hunter's sweet tale nicely weds Regency society intrigue, struggles of faith, and a romance kindled through mutual love of horses. But the dream match just might be staring them in the face. In exchange, Hudson offers to help Bianca find a husband of her own. After they become friends at the stables, Hudson recruits Bianca to help him understand English society and the rules of courtship, as he plans to woo Lady Rebecca, whose father's prize horse he plans to breed with his mare. Bianca, who has long ridden the horses at Hawksworth, believes Hudson could be the answer to her prayers. While his faith in God is thin, Hudson wants to believe his prayers will help him in this new challenge. Raised in India, he has come to England to claim his title and the Hawksworth estate. Lord Hudson Stildon is the new viscount in town. Bianca Snowley never worried about finding a man, but when her father decides it is time to marry her off to the horse-abusing Theophilus Mead, she sets out to find a more compatible match. Hunter (A Pursuit of Home) centers this delightful Regency romance on a woman's search for a husband.
